Fertility Preservation

  Fertility Preservation is a new field in medicine developed with the purpose of helping men and women living apart or suffering from cancer, to overcome the complications of infertility associated with chemo and radiation therapy.

  In men, semen samples can be cryopreserved as a back-up at our centre for any further procedures. Samples can be stored and used later for insemination or other ART procedures.

  Once the PGD procedure has been performed and embryos that are free of genetic problems have beIn females, a number of options for fertility preservation are available:

  1. Ovarian stimulation with oocyte (egg)/ embryo freezing.

  2. Ovarian tissue cryopreservation

  3. Oocyte / Embryo Freezing
